Under AS/NZS 1715, fit testing is mandatory when workers use disposable or reusable tight-fitting respirators.  We deliver qualitative and quantitative fit testing (half‑face, full‑face and PAPR with tight‑fitting facepieces) and help you sustain a compliant respiratory protection program.

What we do:

• Pre‑screening and donning training, including facial hair requirements clarified by Standards Australia.

• We offer quantitative CNC (instrument-measured) fit tests, using particle-counting devices to determine the fit factor.

• Program support - selection, maintenance, change‑out schedules and re‑testing triggers (weight change, dental work)

Deliverables:

Compliant fit test records, updated RPE procedures, and toolbox materials to keep crews using masks correctly every shift. Results are documented, and a fit test record is issued, noting the respirator model and size. Where a worker fails the test, we assist in selecting alternative models or sizes and provide facial hair guidelines.
