Safe Metrics is expanding its occupational hygiene capability and is seeking qualified Occupational Hygienists for project-based consulting work.
This opportunity is well-suited to hygienists looking for additional consulting work, project variety, or a pathway into ongoing consultancy roles.
Conduct exposure monitoring (noise, dust, airborne contaminants, heat and ventilation)
Analyse and interpret monitoring data against Australian exposure standards
Prepare clear, professional hygiene reports with practical recommendations
Support clients with exposure risk management and compliance obligations
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
A qualification in Occupational Hygiene (Graduate Certificate or higher preferred)
Practical experience conducting workplace exposure monitoring
Familiarity with Safe Work Australia exposure standards and AIOH guidance
Strong analytical and report-writing skills
Ability to manage projects independently and meet agreed timeframes
An ABN and relevant professional insurances
Project-based consulting engagements
